Rest in peace King Roger

My beloved friend and companion of 17 years has passed away.

You were a truly outstanding dog with a wonderful balance of being a loving family member and protector of the pack. I loved the way you were so good with the kids, even if you were boisterous until well into adulthood. I loved the way you nuzzled against us showering us with affection while seeking a pat and a cuddle. I loved how you were always willing to defend the family against anyone and anything perceived as a threat. And I loved how you were a little bit edgy, with us having to be on our guard every time we introduced you to new people – would lover boy come out to play, or would you be the defender of our pack?

You, dear friend, were the perfect dog. You will be forever in our hearts and minds.
