My DMH Outdoors 4WD self-inflating mattresses have had a hard life. One of the four mattresses that I purchased now has a puncture in it and needed to be repaired. We have both the DMH Outdoors Off-Road (10 cm) and Bush-Mate (8 cm) 4WD self-inflating mattresses. We recently camped at Adder Rock Holiday Park on Stradbroke Island — or Straddie as the locals call it. While we were on Straddie, we took the opportunity to visit two other Straddie Holiday Parks, Cylinder Beach Holiday Park and Amity Point Holiday Park. Stradbroke Island is an iconic destination that permits beach driving. When we stayed at Straddie we drove on Flinders Beach and Main Beach, as well as driving the sandy Tripod Track. You will need a beach access permit from Redland City Council to drive on the beaches. We took our Toyota Prado, loaded with camping gear, on the Big Red Cat when we recently camped on Stradbroke Island. There are basically two ways to get your vehicle to Stradbroke Island — or Straddie as the locals call it. You can put your vehicle on Stradbroke Ferries or the Big Red Cat.
